DISCIPLING NEW CHRISTIANS

DISCIPLING NEW CHRISTIANS

Discipling New Christians” is a two session course that equips people to become effective disciplers of new Christians. The course covers the essential ingredients of the discipling process, the key qualities of an effective discipler and the importance of the discipling relationship. Additionally, the course deals with suggested materials and processes.

I wrote the course in 1988, in response to a wave of conversions that swept through Engadine Church of Christ over a 2 year period, creating an overwhelming need for more disciplers. It subsequently became part of the training manual, “Active Christian Service”, that I wrote in 1993. It was published by Churches Of Christ, NSW, Department Of Church Development and Education, and has been used by many churches around Australia.
