Back From Oblivion!

Dear subscribers,

This is just a quick post to apologise for not having written anything on my blog for such a long time. I have been extremely busy in recent months with various ministry engagements. My recent ministry has included:

  • An outreach apologetics seminar at Castle Hill, Sydney
  • An Outreach apologetics seminar in Central New South Wales
  • A 3 week locum ministry at Narromine Anglican Church (central NSW)

Most recently (this last week) I was the keynote speaker at the Northern Territory Clergy Conference, at which Anglican clergy from all over the Northern Territory gathered together for fellowship and inspiration. I gave 4 talks over 4 days, and was blessed to get to know some wonderful Aboriginal ministers as well as some ‘white fellas’ like me.

As well as all that, I am now in the middle of co-writing a new book with another author. This is a new experience for me, as I have never co-written anything before, but it is one that I am absolutely loving.

So, there is my excuse for not writing a blog post lately! However, my wife and I are now sitting in a hotel room in Darwin, having just finished the Clergy Conference, and we are about to enjoy two weeks of holiday as we see some of the local sights and travel around the ‘top end’ of Australia, where daily temperatures are currently 38 to 41 degrees Celsius.

Once I get my breath back I will post something again on my blog! But I would value your prayers for the writing project that is ongoing, and also for my next locum ministry appointment in a few weeks when I will visit the mid-western towns of Rylstone and Kandos for 10 days to preach, conduct two outreach seminars and meet with church leaders to help them formulate a strategic plan for their church. I would value your prayers!

Bless you all!
