This is just a quick post to let you know that my new book, “Reconnecting with God”, is now available. As the subtitle suggests, it provides “12 Steps to Revitalise Your Walk With God”. As an added bonus, it also includes a study guide with questions at the end of each chapter for small groups, as well as a link to free sermon outlines for preachers who want to coordinate their Sunday sermons with the studies in the book.
The idea for “Reconnecting with God” grew out of a series of six talks and studies I prepared for a clergy retreat for the Bathurst Diocese of the Anglican Church which was originally planned for last year but which I will now be leading in June this year. Over the last 12 months I have developed the ideas further and significantly modified them for relevance to a wider audience.
Here is the blurb from the back of the book:
“Has your faith grown a little stale? Has the spark faded? This book is designed to help you revitalise your faith and reconnect with God in a life-changing way. Or perhaps you have not been a person of faith until now, but would like to know how to begin. This book is for you, as well. The practical guidelines in this book will help you discover a relationship with your Creator that will change your life, now and forever. The 12 steps outlined in this book are the 12 essential steps that anyone needs to take if they want to develop and maintain a relationship with God that is truly transformative.”
“Reconnecting with God” is available as a paperback or ebook from my SmartFaith website and also from Amazon and other major online retailers. Australian readers wanting to purchase the paperback version are encouraged to purchase from SmartFaith, as the book is cheaper there and you will receive it faster than if you purchase elsewhere.
